“Flick” is a song by rising New York Rapper Grafic featuring a member of Hicksville’s Bong Island Collective, J Trees. It is produced by CashMoneyAP and mixed by J Trees. get the popcorn ready before tapping play.
At only 18 years old, Hicksville artist Grafic is, to the eyes of many of his fellow collaborators, one of the hardest workers in the underground New York scene right now. Since he started dropping music a year ago, Grafic has consistently dropped track after track with each track gaining over 1,000 plays based on self promotion and consistency. He is one of the more versatile artists out of Hicksville, drawing inspiration from hip-hop, rock, pop punk, etc. His music always tells a story while staying catchy the whole time, making it easy to digest and radio-friendly.
Grafic works very closely with the Hicksville collective Bong Island, who’s members have worked with the likes of Michael Christmas and OG Maco. “Flick” is his best song to date, a catchy, auto-tuned melodic song with a good amount of sharp rapping and punchlines that flow together very well into a complete song. It’s safe to say that with all the work the young musician is making, the only way for him is up.
